We offer our students (enrolled in B.A., M.A. and teaching degrees) an Anglo-American Area and Cultural Studies module using the Koblenz Model. This module lasts three semesters and includes topics in education, political life, environment, immigration and minorities, religion, arts, media, social issues plus selected topics in geography and history.

The Koblenz Model is a non-traditional way of learning about British (and American) life using learner autonomy, learning by teaching, passive and active web skills, and teamwork.

For more information about the Koblenz Model of Anglo-American Area and Cultural Studies at German Universities please visit the Area Studies website at the University in Koblenz.
